Delhi Mahila Samity will be formed on December 21, the get-together day

The Bishnupriya Manipuri Nagarik Samity, Delhi has decided to go ahead with the creation of Mahila Samity on the get-together day scheduled on December 21.

On December 21, Bishnupriya Manipuri people living Delhi and adjoining areas are congregating at Shyam Vihar, Delhi so that interaction amongst the populace could take place and given a firm ground.

The formation of women wing in Delhi has come at an opportune time as participation of Bishnupriya Manipuri people is showing a marked increase in Delhi and NCR region in the recent years.

Unfortunately, participation of women in organising events in the past has been minimal. So, the formation of Mahila Samity will definitely give a boost to their morale and to all the community members.

The get-together cum ‘picnic’ arrangement is a day-long programme from morning to evening. The event will be attended by Bishnupriya Manipuri people living in different pockets in the Delhi and NCR region.

He was born to a Xatriya Manipuri family. His father Sri Sanatan Pandit was a Sanskrit teacher and mother Srimati Malati Devi, a house wife.
