  1. I have full sympathy for the 149 language teachers those who were on hunger strike. And I thank them for the withdrawl of the strike.
They spent 9 years in waitng; but no fruitful order they received so far.
Since the declaration of strike,i have been specifying : was it a legitimate step towards the settlement? Most of the educated Bishnupriya Manipuris are still in doubt, whether the appointment letters issued to the indivdual teacher, were faulty,
otherwise,Guwahati High Court would have given the verdict in favour of them.
I feel, there is a foul cry behind all these. Here I would like to quote one incident::
One gentleman from Pune told me to enquire about his brother`s appointment while I was visiting his house. On enquiry, his brther could not produce the copy as promised by him within next one month, saying that Head teacher had lost it.
My request, let a copy of one appointment letter be published in the news papers for the public to justify its genuineness. And let also publish the cause of withdrawl of the strike. What would Govt talk about the remuneration as mentioned by one Mr.Prabir Rajkumar.Let the organisers come clean about their demand of remuneration or employment of teachers.Did Govt any time commit of disbursement of remuneration to 149 teachers?
