Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha to hold 43rd Annual Conference in Tripura from 13-15 Feb 2009

Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha in a communiqué sent to the blog, has stated that the socio-cultural body is going to celebrate its Platinum Jubilee in Tripura. The Platinum Jubilee, which is also its 43rd Annual Conference, will be held for three-days in the Kailasahar district. 

Uday Sinha, Secretary General, Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha said that the venue decided for the annual conference is: Guldharpur (Bimalnagar), Rudra Singh Higher Secondary School, Kailasahar, Tripura and the dates are 13-14 & 15th February 2009. 

The blueprint of the programme will be released in due time, he said.

    This is the first time Delhi,Mumbai
    Kolkata,Pune,Ahmedabad and Bangalore will be represented in this conference of Mahasabha in Tripura.All the delegates will be reaching by 12th Feb.2009.

Bishnupriya Manipuri Development Council: Few Pertinent Questions (Part I)

By Rebati Mohan Sinha On last 25th March 2010 there was an announcement in the floor of the House that the Government of Assam has agreed on principle to form three separate Social Economic Development Councils for Bishnupriya Manipuri, Nath Yugi and Maimal. And now the Cabinet Committee has given its nod.
