Bithi Sinha begged the first position in Golden Voice of Barak competition

Bishnupriya Manipuri girls are coming forward and are proving their mettle. In a recently held mega final competition Golden Voice of Barak programme it was very much visible. Bithi Sinha begged the first position in the closely contested competition. In the same platform, the third position was shared by Manjula Sinha (of Patherkandi, Assam) and Chandrani Sharma.

The mega finale competition was inaugurated by President Mrs Sushmita Dev; Saptaparna Chakroborty of Sa-Re-Ga-Ma fame and well known singer Sivaji Chatterjee were in judges’ chair.

With the success of musical shows on the Indian television, talent hunt shows are widely used to give a platform to singers to showcase their talent. The trend is catching and is being accepted by upcoming singers to bring out their singing talent.

Sa-Re-Ga-Ma is one successful musical show running in Zee TV which has produced singers of repute like Shreya Ghosal and Kunal Ghanjawala. Other similar musical programmes on the same format are running in almost all entertainment channels.
