Kartik Sena Sinha gets AIUDF ticket

News

It is official now that Kartik Sena Sinha will contest from the Patharkandi constituency under the banner of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).

See below the list of selected AIUDF candidates for the up-coming Assembly Election – 2011 (Phase – I) in Assam to be held on April 4, 2011.
Karik Sena Sinha has the full support of the Bishnupriya Manipuri community and other communities that make up the constituency, says Brojo Mohon of Tinokhal village. Unlike 2006 assembly election when Kartik won from the Patharkandi constituency, this election would be tough and the fight would be limited to Congress’s candidate Monilal Gowala and AIUDF’s Kartik Sena Sinha, he asserts.

Letting the electorate know about Kartik’s change of party would be tough since campaigning hasn’t yet started, says Brojo. The trump card that would sway people to support Kartik is development that the constituency has witnessed in his five-year tenure.

  3. Kartik Sena is a great player, as a politician or otherwise, so, he does not need my advice. He knows well what is the reason for his present mess up. I am for a strong India, (not for my huge bank balance), so I support a party with a commitment. Meantime, I also know that we are living in a highly politicised society and as BM we need a leader who can lead our community. Right now, we don't have any leader other then Mr Kartick Sena and because of this TINA factor I shall have to support him, even though, the party he has chosen is not so palatable to me. kaminimohan, dxb

  4. I never met or talked with Kartik Sena Sinha, but I wish his political triumph simply because we need a leader to raise voice on behalf of us in political platform like assembly or Parliament.

  5. We Bishnupriya Manipuris should always understand that a strong India will guarantee our safety and growth. I do not prefer that Kartik Sena Sinha has joined the AIUDF just because of his own concern of power. One should look at the flag of the AIUDF. It looks like it is a Arab flag.

  6. I agree that the party he has chosen just because of his own selfish concern for power is not palatable to me either.
