Paritraan, a Bishnupriya Manipuri movie, is slated to be released September-end this year. Produced by L.L Productions, brings forth the social changes the Bishnupriya Manipuri hinterlands are witnessing due to acute unemployment among the youngsters.

The movie which coalesce the Bishnupriya Manipuri culture and the prevailing socio-economic scenario of the society runs parallel in the story.

Tushar Sinha of Sa-Re-Ga-Ma Fame, Golden Voice of Barak 2009, Bithi Sinha, and Promila Sinha, have given voice in the movie.

Story, screenplay and dialogue by Pabhas Kanti Sinha, and lyrics by Pt. Motilal Sinha, Prabhas Kanti Sinha and Hiren Sinha; Paritraan is studded with talents- Vishal Sinha (Delhi), Pinki Sinha (Tinsukia), Ashotosh Sinha ( Robi) of Guwahati, Samarendra Sinha, Kabita Sinha.

The movie is directed by Hiren Sinha and Kuldip Bora.

    1. 'Paritraan'will be Hiren Sinha's
      2nd directoral movie,the first one being 'Adhaare mingaal' which was specially screened for me at Guwahati last March.I liked that movie.I do hope this one will do better at the box office and at the same time I congratulate Prabhas for launching his son, Vishal as the hero of the movie.

    2. ihave seen the previous movie directed by Shri Hiren sinha. movies do a lot in propagating the language and culture of that perticular community. kudos to the perseverence of Shri Hiren Sinha and his team. i have always seen him immersed in the thought of making and contributing in this art in bishnupriya language. i convey my best wishes for the early completion and grand success of the project.

    4. hello folks,i would like to ask to the bishnupriya manipuri community as a whole that as we are in a way to extinction...whats the best way to survive!!!!!no income,no talents...we all are heading towards army,bsf,but as for making a remarkable name,we are lacking in every aspect...what to do?
