The Bishnupriya Manipuri language is not safe, reveals a survey recently conducted among the populace all across the world.
Sixty-three per cent respondents feel that the language is in danger and it will vanish from the metros. Responses were received from 17 locations all over the world.

However, thirty-three per cent respondents were having the opinion that the language is safe and secure in metros and will eventually not out of our spoken language.
“Language cannot be extinct,” said Suroshree. Shairng the same view Remuna Sinha said, “The language may languish but will not perish.”
