Suction-Assisted Liposuction (SAL) is the standard technique of Liposuction. In this process, cannula is inserted meticulously through the fat layer by making a small hole in the body. It causes breaking up of the fat cells which is by the suction is drawn out.

In the recent times, Laser Liposuction (also known as Smartlipo, laserlipo) is gaining popularity. In this technique, LASER energy is used to melt the accumulated fat.
