A delegation team from Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha under the leadership of A.S.Gautam, Vice President Central Committee met Biran Singh Engti, MP, Diphu on August 16, 2009, and submitted a memorandum addressed to the Minister for Information & Broadcasting Ambika Soni and urged for immediate implementation of Bishnupriya Manipuri programme in AIR and Doordarshan Kendra of Silchar and Kailasahar, Tripura.
