Are we backward?

Here is the second response by Dipen Sinha on the survey "Is the Bishnupriya Manipuri a backward community?".

Socially: Yes
Economically: Yes
Politically: Yes
Educationally: Yes
We are under represented in Class I government services: Yes

Views: "In every respect we are backward."

To support my opinion I will say "nobody in India knows us". For example, lets take randomly 1000 educated people and ask them "have you heard the word Bishnupriya Manipuri"? 99 per cent of them will say "No". By going through the above discussion YOU CAN EASILY JUSTIFY MY OPINION. Here I am not taking uneducated people into consideration because they never study newspapers, books and even don't pay attention to news bulletin too.

The search engine has been launched to get results exclusively on queries and information related to Assam.
