There is an urgent need to spread the teachings of Sri Sri Bhubaneshwar Sadhu Thakur, it was decided in a meeting of the engineers in Kolkata recently. It was also decided that a statue of Sadhu Thakur sculpted in white marvel be installed in the Nat-Mandir, where the general devotees (Theertha-yatri) can offer their prayers.

At present the statue is quite away from the Nat –Mandir. In this regard, an appeal was made in writing to the President, Inspection Committee through proper channel i.e the sevait, to look into the matter in their perspective.

The meeting was attended by the Radha Madhavjiu Mandir Central Committiee members (Subhas Sharma - President, Krishna Charan Sinha- Secretary); members of Yatri Nivas Nirman committee Kajalkanti Sinha (President), Shyam Sundar Sinha (Vice-president), Chittatosh Sinha (Member); Engineers (Rebati Mohan Sinha - Naval Architect, Prof. Dr. Ashoke Sinha-Civil Engineer, Braja Kishore Sinha, Civil Engineer, Bijit Kumar Sinha Elec Engineer) and from the representatives of the Radha Gobinda Mandir (Nabadwip) Rakhaldas Debabarmana, Chief Advisor and Mairang Singh Debabarmana, Sevait.

      Although it is a belated news; but still it will carry a meaningful message to our BM society. It is to inform the society that the inspection committee had given their nod to install a statue of Bhubaneshwar Sadhu Thakur in the Natmandir and accordingly with the help of Gobindabari Sevait, a life size statue of Fibre- Glass, made at Kolkata's Kumar Tuli, was installed on 12th February 2011, at the central door of Nat-mandir on the auspiciousday of Maghi Purnima .     Bishnupriya Manipuri Development Council: Few Pertinent Questions (Part I)

    By Rebati Mohan Sinha On last 25th March 2010 there was an announcement in the floor of the House that the Government of Assam has agreed on principle to form three separate Social Economic Development Councils for Bishnupriya Manipuri, Nath Yugi and Maimal. And now the Cabinet Committee has given its nod. It will be placed in the House (not yet placed) and once it is passed, then a Ministerial Committee would consult the stake holders i.e. these three communities, regarding their aspirations and would send its recommendation accordingly to the Central Government for further action within the next two months.
