Every Indian wants to have a pie of the Bollywood dream. But few dares to dream, and those who dream, as a saying goes, their dream remains a dream. But for Abheek Sinha, a Tripura-based Bishnupriya Manipuri, familiar with ‘Rohn’, has at last kissed the Bollywood dream.

Abheek Sinha, son of Dr Ashok Sinha, will be playing a lead role with John Abraham, Pakhi Tyrewala, Raghu and Madhavan in the Abbas Tyrewala's film “1-800 Love” - a $ 10 million romantic comedy.

Born and brought up in Agartala, Abheek Sinha studied in Holy Cross School and then went for Jai Hind College in Mumbai.

“He plays the role of a protagonist's 16 year old neighbour and is a catalyst in the plot,” Abbas Tyrewala said in an interview given to Mid Day.

Abbas spotted Rohn at a cafe, walked up to him and offered him the role and doesn't want to consider another option at this stage, "I want only him for this role. I can't make the film without this boy. I see only him in the role. I want him and no one else." Replacing Rohn with a local actor is not an option, said Abbas in the interview.

However, the shooting that has to be taken place in London soon came under cloud with the visa denial of Abheek Sinha, Mid Day reported.

According to Tripura-based news site, Abheek Sinha was granted Visa with the help of a journalist who is presently based in Kolkata convincing the British Authorities that Abheek would for no reason will reside in UK.

  4. Even after my earlier comment, my curiocity did not stop there, it is growing more and more to know about this boy.I rang up to Mr.Kajalkanti Sinha(Rtd.Addl.Chief Engr of Tripura)at kolkata and it came as a surprise to me that he himself is the eldest uncle of Abheek whose father Dr.Ashok Sinha is the younger brother, and was introduced to me by his nick name recently at Kajalda`s house at Kolkata.
Abheek is a boy,who would be
appearing in the film as child artist;but not in lead role as it mentined in the news.
Once more, wish him good luck.

Assam Search Engine: Bisarok

Exclusive search engine on Assam Manash Pratim Gohain, TNN Jun 16, 2012, 01.46PM IST NEW DELHI: Assam got its own search engine ' Bisarok '. The search engine has been launched to get results exclusively on queries and information related to Assam. 'Bisarok', means 'to search' in Assamese language, has been launched and has been linked to various websites of the Government of Assam and departments, educational institutions and media. 'Bisarok' has been developed by RK Rishikesh Sinha, who had earlier created a similar custom search engine ('Bisarei') on Bishnupriya Manipuri. According to Sinha, apart from Google there was no link to get results particularly on Assam. Any web entity related...

The 'Star' Krishankant Sinha of Space City Sigma

By RK Rishikesh Sinha, New Delhi It is a myth that the all-knowing Internet knows everything. One such myth relates to old television stuff aired on Doordarshan before 1990. Search in Google “Space City Sigma”, the search engine would throw up reminiscent results from the people who still long for those days. Those days were really golden days. Krishankant Sinha in the role of Captain Tara in Space City Singma For those who have watched Doordarshan some 15 to 20 years back, am sure they will have nostalgic memories of it. The days when possessing a now ubiquitous looking television set was a luxury. It was a neighbour’s envy product. It was a visual product to showoff, to flaunt that we have a television set .
