In a welcome development for the Bishnupriya Manipuri community as a whole and in particular for the organization, the apex socio-cultural body of the Bishnupriya Manipuri community the Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha (NBMM) has resurrected its site mahasabha.org that remained in oblivion for years on the internet.
“The same sites but starting from the 0-point again”, said the architect behind the site, Uttam Singha.
Hacking has been cited as one reason for the site remaining out of the reach for most of the Bishnupriya Manipuri netizens.
“Old site hacked by hackers and injected some spams inside the server, so I did not want to keep old contents, and it might affect some users, so I have to shut down the site” said Uttam Singha.
“I really do not know the answer, but this site will inspire our members to open some other new sites, and we won't be left-behind society from the internet/today’s world. Mahasabha is an international organaization, and should have a modern role” said Uttam.
To have a vibrant site everybody’s participation is crucial and necessary, said Uttam.
“I request everybody to help me with information or suggestions, and I will upload those information to the Mahasabha web site” he said.
