Chess tourney concludes

GUWAHATI, Nov 13: The Guwahati Chess Open Championship organised by Guwahati Chess Association concluded here today with Bipin Singha bagging the first prize followed with Chiraranjan Bhuyan and Pradip Bhuyan, stated a press release.

(U-9 girls) 1st-Rishita Sinha (St Mary’s School), 2nd-Akansha Das (Axel’s Kindergarten), 3rd-Adit B Thekedath (Sarla Birla Gyan Jyoti). U-13: 1st- Amian Mahanta (KV IOC), 2nd-Simran Ahmed (Pearl Valley), 3rd-Prachurjya Gayan (Holy Home), 4th-Ankit Das (DPS), 5th-Ritwick Sinha, 6th-Rishav Deuri (both Don Bosco, Guwahati).
