“Mumbai chalo” missing in Bishnupriya Manipuri youths

People always compare between MUMBAI and DELHI. And they love to do it. Their comparison ranges from the history, to the present economic and infrastructure advancement and of course to the culture of the people that both the cities carry.

If Delhi gains the point being the capital of India, Mumbai steals this being the financial capital of India, and the entertainment capital of Indian sub-continent. We can go on and on discussing, analyzing that both the cities have to offer.

However, to the question what it is the status in terms of strength of Bishnupriya Manipuri living in Mumbai and in its suburban areas. Here it is

  • Bishnupriya Manipuris people in Mumbai and its adjoining areas doesn’t even touch the figure 100
  • The city has failed to hold the dream of Bishnupriya Manipuri youngsters
