About Nilos: He appears in a rare list of intellectuals that includes the like of Albert Einstein!)  GOMNEI  Gomnei gomnei!!!! What should I do for AIEEE exam?

By Sonica Rajkumari IInd year Planning, SPA Vijaywada All you need is to think freely; try to avoid complications in your mind while seeing the objects and be assured before filling the options in the answer sheet. The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is going to be held on 25th April 2010. I appeared for the AIEEE twice and managed to get through in engineering as well as in architecture and planning in the year 2008. I didn’t opt for engineering seat because I knew I may get the seat through 2nd or 3rd counseling or probably I may not get. Moreover, I had better rank in architecture than engineering and above all this, I was more interested in architecture. The candidate who is going to sit in the engineering exams has to mug up the 11th and 12th standard books day and night; go to coaching centre and understand the whole syllabus; and go through all that hard work besides extra stress of the exam itself. But for the architecture exam, one is not bounded with sy

Top 10 Lurking Questions

By RK Rishikesh Sinha, New Delhi Ever since the BishnupriyaManipuri.Com came into existence in the web world, some questions are repeatedly asked by first-time readers and writers. What are the questions? # Ques 1:“ Kita lab ase site e-han choliya? ” What is the benefit running this site? Ohh! “ lab ”, frankly speaking if it is ‘money’, then there is nothing as such monetary benefit owed to BishnupriyaManipuri.Com. Nothing to feel sorry since Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul, faces the same question, and all content-rich mega-sites owners that you see all around the Internet are brooding over – How to monetize their sites. There is no economic model as such developed in the Internet world. If you have got one, share with me! This was money aspect! However, at the individual aspect, yeah the ‘ lab ’ has been immense. I became Google ninja*!, Web expert, self-proclaimed coder-editor (like an news editor making plans what to publish, how to go ahead…etc.) , hunt news and follow news t

Pay your condolence to the 76 CRPF jawans of Dantewada killing

When we were busy with our daily chores in the early morning of Tuesday, 76 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were fighting with naxalites in the dense jungle of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. In the attack, the whole platoon of CRPF was butchered. The ferocity of the attack could be measured from the fact that only 5 jawans survived in the deadly ambush. The day has gone down to the list of the 26/11 and 7/11 terrorist attacks on India. Anger and outrage are natural fallout of the mind-numbing attack. So is sympathy for the security forces and their families. Pay your condolence to our brave jawans. Enter your name, location and message and press the 'submit' button. You can also message in the Google Doc Form . Your message will appear in this post (also visible here ). Loading...

Bishnupriya Manipuri bodies hail Kartik

Special Correspondent SILCHAR, April 6: Five different Bishnupriya Manipuri bodies-Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha, Bishnupriya Manipuri Students’ Union, Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Andolan Parishad, Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahila Sangstha and NGO Khowrang today jointly accorded reception to Kartik Sena Sinha, Patharkandi BJP MLA, who made a volte-face and voted for Congress in the Rajya Sabha elections along with three other MLAs of the party Dr. Rumi Nath, Shambhu Singh Mallah and Abhijit Hazarika. All the four MLAs have been suspended from the party, pending final decision by the party president for their expulsion from BJP. The spectre of action by the highest decision making body of BJP seems to have no impact on Kartik Sena Sinha who received a hero’s welcome on his arrival at Kumbhirgram Airport. A cavalcade of his supporters and fans in four and six wheelers and motor bikes carried him to Sri Sri Bhubaneshwar Sadhu Thakur Ashram at Tarapur of this town where he was

Kartik fans disrupt Purkayastha’s rally

From our Staff Reporter SILCHAR, April 1: Silchar MP Kabindra Purkayastha was virtually compelled to quit the Lowairpua Mandal BJP office today leaving his speech incomplete as almost 200 supporters of MLA Kartik Sena Sinha violently raised slogans against the senior BJP leader. Purkayastha along with Karimganj district BJP president Jyotirmoy Das and Shipra Gun left the venue as the meeting was disrupted by Bishnupriya Manipuri youths who brought out a procession from Motor Stand area towards Mandal Office. Purkayastha had been attending party meeting at Borkhola, Patharkandi and Ratabari to keep the spirit of the workers intact following the party MLAs of these three Assembly segments tarnishing the image of BJP by casting their votes in favour of Congress candidates in the recent Rajya Sabha election in the State. Today, the workers meet at Lowerpua began with the speech of Mandal BJP president Uttam Rickiason. When Kabindra Purkayastha began his speech, a group of Bishnupriya Mani
