Despite being away from homeland we all often visit our native place at least once in a year or two. In this visit we not only meet our cousins and relatives but also notice the changes in their day-to-day routine that we saw in our last visit. Change is a natural thing it’s a sign of evolution. After taking lunch there we went to Kalain at evening to catch our night Super bus. The timing of night Super tortured us to the spine. It was supposed to come at 6.30 p.m but it reached Kalain at 11'o clock dead night after waiting for 5 hours. On 16th at 11.00 a.m we reached Guwahati and decided to have lunch there. We were so tired that as soon as we reached home we fell asleep. At evening I went to meet my friends and told them that I am going to Vijayawada the next day i.e., 17.07.08. At 6.30 at the morning we boarded the train from Kamakhya railway station to Vijayawada. Next day we reached Vijaywada at night 12.30a.m. We were advised by the local people of Vijayawada in train if we reach Vijaywada at mid night we should stay in refreshment rooms of Railway station or we should go to hotel by auto. Every morning between 7 to 7.30 a.m, my house used to get chaotic with full of activities. “I’m getting late.” “Mom, are you going to keep ready my Tiffin box now, or not?” “Or, give me 5-10Rupess; I will get some samosa in recess time.” “Huh, where are my socks? That I had put it here yesterday.” That was the routine which remained through out my school days. And then ran to school exactly 5 minutes before the closing of the school gate. My visit to Silchar, I presume, was totally different from my previous round up, as earlier I had only been to Silchar from Guwahati, and before that from Srinagar. So from the day one we landed up in Delhi, the visit comes as my first experience of journey from Delhi to Silchar. Delhi to Silchar The journey from Delhi to Guwahati in train was OK.
