Konkona Singha mesmerises Delhiites with her performance

It was her debut performance in New Delhi.

But 'first' didn't deter her to mesmerise the Bishnupriya Manipuri audience congregated at the Bipin Chandra Pal Memorial Hall, CR Park, New Delhi on October 30 to observe the birth anniversary of Shri Shri Bhubaneswar Sadhu Thakur. With her awe-inspiring finesse dance, Konkona Singha left the audience to take notice of her talent. Konkana is the daughter of Kolkata-based Bishnupriya Manipuri dancer and teacher Kunjo Singha. (Read about Kunjo Singha) The programme was organised by Bishnupriya Manipuri Nagarik Samiti (BMNS), Delhi and NCR.

    I heard a lot from my cousin in Delhi about the group from Kolkata performing in Delhi Sadhu Baba utsab also about the beautiful dance performed by Konkona Singha. He said it was a awestruck performance by the group and Konkona was exceptional. The photograph gives an impression of what it would have been to watch the live performance. I will definitely go and watch her performance next year. Wish her all the best in her life ahead and thanks for the photographs.
